Interactive ESA demonstrator using Earth Observation and cloud analytics to explore pathways to carbon neutrality in the Baltic region.

The Baltic GTIF (BETA) demonstrator addresses the need for policy-makers, researchers and public sector users to explore and quantify pathways to carbon neutrality using satellite-derived observations and cloud-hosted analytics. Delivered as an interactive web environment powered by EOX Hub, the platform ingests and harmonises Earth Observation data from Copernicus satellites (including Sentinel-1 SAR), applies analytics and presents narrative-driven visualisations to support evidence-based decision making in climate and environmental policy across the Baltic Sea region.
Key capabilities:
Initially piloted in Lithuania and expanding to Estonia, Latvia, Germany and Poland, Baltic GTIF is an ESA-funded initiative (EUR 642,200) delivered by a consortium including EOX IT Services, OHB Digital Services, and Lithuanian partners. The platform is free and publicly accessible, though currently in BETA with frequent updates expected.
