OceanVibes Platform

OceanVibes is eOdyn's flagship SaaS platform for real-time monitoring and analytics of ocean surface currents. It fuses proprietary Omni-Situ data (surface currents derived from AIS vessel tracks via machine learning) with remote-sensing products (altimetry from Sentinel-3 and Jason satellites for geostrophic currents, sea-surface temperature, chlorophyll), in-situ MELODI drifters, and numerical model forecasts (NEMO, HYCOM) to deliver a high-resolution, near-real-time picture of ocean dynamics.

The platform is delivered as a fully managed, customisable SaaS with no infrastructure for the customer to deploy. It exposes API access to its core data streams (Omni-Situ currents and high-resolution model data), is built on open-source software and partner platforms, and provides visual and audible alerts for operational decision-making. A public-facing Ocean Vibes Playground offers free exploration of the underlying technology.

Primary customers include maritime operators, offshore energy companies and their contractors, coastal-infrastructure owners, government agencies, and research teams. Key use cases span route optimisation, spill response, situational awareness, metocean monitoring, and environmental impact assessment.
