EarthWorks is the industry's first satellite-based solution for detecting subsurface soil moisture risks, using L-band Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) that penetrates the ground to map moisture conditions regardless of time of day, weather, or surface vegetation. A single satellite pass can assess up to 3,500 sq km, with patented algorithms converting raw SAR signals into actionable GIS heatmaps that highlight areas of excess moisture and seepage. Infrastructure operators — across dams and levees, roads, railways, mining tailings facilities, and large commercial properties — receive the processed dataset ready for integration into ArcGIS or other GIS platforms, enabling predictive maintenance, compliance documentation, and early geotechnical risk mitigation without any on-site labour or ground-based instrumentation.
