Maritime Security & Vessel Tracking

CLS delivers maritime security services through its Maritime Awareness System (MAS), which fuses satellite and terrestrial AIS, LRIT, VMS, RF detection, and radar/optical Earth Observation imagery to detect, identify and monitor maritime activity at global scale.

The platform processes around 30 million vessel positions daily across 400 satellites and analyzes approximately 200,000 radar and optical images annually via three VIGISAT ground stations, covering 100% of global maritime traffic. AI-driven behavioural analysis provides real-time anomaly detection, risk-based alerting, historical screening, sanctions compliance checking and customised reporting.

Target users include coast guards, navies, maritime authorities, intelligence agencies and flag administrations. Proven deployments include the French Navy (TRIMARAN III contract), Indian Coast Guard, Royal Thai Navy, Ecuadorian Navy and the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA). The managed service model means non-technical operators receive actionable intelligence products with no infrastructure burden.
