LIFE 2026 — Technical Assistance (Preparation of SIP / SNAP)

LIFE-2026-TA-PP provides mini-grants to help authorities prepare Strategic Integrated Project (SIP) or Strategic Nature Project (SNaP) proposals for submission to the LIFE 2027 call. Managed by CINEA. Total budget €1 million across three topics: TA-preparation of SNAPs (€500,000), TA-preparation of ENV SIPs (€300,000), and TA-preparation of CLIMA SIPs (€200,000). Maximum EU contribution €70,000 per project; project duration 24 months; deadline 22 September 2026. Funding rate 60% of eligible costs. The authority responsible for the plan, strategy or action plan that the future SIP/SNaP will target must lead the consortium (in principle as coordinator). Projects under this call may only prepare proposals for the LIFE 2027 call — they cannot support preparation for any later year, because the EU's Multiannual Financial Framework 2028–2034 is still under negotiation.
