Breeze Technologies Air Quality Satellite Data gives cities, communities, businesses, researchers and NGOs near-real-time air quality information without deploying physical sensor networks. The capability is delivered as part of the company's Environmental Intelligence Cloud, a web-based analytics platform, and draws on observations from the European Space Agency's Copernicus Sentinel-5P mission and its TROPOMI instrument. Sentinel-5P maps atmospheric trace gases globally and refreshes daily as it passes over a user's location, providing both historical and current measurements. The platform tracks key pollutants including carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), ozone (O3) and sulphur dioxide (SO2). Within the Environmental Intelligence Cloud, satellite datasets can be explored geospatially via integrated GIS tooling, analysed with built-in charting, and benchmarked against WHO recommendations, EU air quality indices and US EPA guidelines. Because the service requires no hardware deployment, customers can get same-day access through a subscription licence, and can combine the satellite layer with Breeze's hyperlocal sensor data where available.
