Drishti Geo Portal

Drishti Geo Portal is Vasundharaa Geo Technologies' browser-based platform for exploring, visualising and analysing satellite imagery. Users select an area of interest, a time range and a cloud-cover limit, then inspect full-resolution imagery in the browser, download high-resolution images and create time-lapses. Preset visualisations include true colour, false colour, NDVI and EVI. An advanced mode lets users assign any bands to the RGB channels, and an indices tool builds remote-sensing indices from band equations, for example NDVI from Sentinel-2 near-infrared and red bands. Split-slider comparison places imagery from different dates or collections side by side; the provider illustrates it with before-and-after views of the September 2023 Libya floods.

The portal's open-data menu lists Sentinel-2, Sentinel-1 SAR, Sentinel-5P methane and carbon monoxide, MODIS and SRTM elevation data, alongside derived layers (hydrology, forest fire, temperature, administrative boundaries, population), climate and weather data, and disaster datasets. It also supports commercial collections and user-uploaded data. Automated actions cover building-footprint extraction, burnt-area detection, land-surface change detection, surface-water extraction and green-cover change, and deep-learning tools offer object detection, segmentation, settlement extraction and ship detection on SAR. A conversational Geospatial Assistant generates insights through chat. Plans run from a free single-user tier to Basic, Advanced and Enterprise tiers that add users, surveys, cloud storage and AI features; the paid tiers are listed at 1,000 (Basic), 1,500 (Advanced) and 2,000 (Enterprise) INR per user per month.
