MotionMonitor

MotionMonitor provides operational ground-movement intelligence by analysing repeat SAR acquisitions using APSIS (Advanced Pixel System using ISBAS), a proprietary InSAR algorithm co-developed with the University of Nottingham and Terra Motion Limited. It delivers continuous, millimetre-level displacement monitoring across vegetated and non-vegetated terrain — achieving 2–8× higher measurement density in urban areas and 7–15× higher density in vegetated or complex terrain versus traditional InSAR.

Key capabilities:

• Full-Coverage InSAR (APSIS): Persistent and intermittent scatterer analysis providing near-complete spatial coverage including heavily vegetated surfaces where conventional InSAR fails.
• Alerting & Thresholds: Configurable triggers and inverse velocity mapping for early risk detection before structural failure occurs.
• Site-Level Visualisation: Time-series displacement charts and deformation maps tailored to assets, parcels and tailings storage facilities.
• Integration Outputs: GIS-ready layers and API endpoints for asset management and enterprise systems.
• MotionMonitor-TSF Variant: Dedicated early-warning service for mine tailings dams, proven capable of predicting failure events ~40 days in advance (validated against the 2019 Brumadinho collapse).

MotionMonitor targets critical infrastructure, insurance, real estate, energy and mining sectors and requires no ground sensor installation, eliminating traditional survey costs while supporting early intervention.
