Wyvern Hyperspectral Data

Wyvern Hyperspectral Data is a commercial Earth-observation service delivering 5.3 m GSD VNIR hyperspectral imagery from the Dragonette satellite constellation — 23 bands (503–799 nm) on Dragonette-1 and 31 bands (445–870 nm) on the extended-VNIR satellites. Data is processed to Level 1B (top-of-atmosphere radiance) and Level 2A (atmospherically corrected surface reflectance), then delivered as Cloud-Optimised GeoTIFFs with STAC-compliant metadata via on-demand tasking, assured (pre-reserved) capacity, archive orders or an ordering API. Band centre wavelengths are deliberately aligned with existing commercial (PlanetScope) and science (Landsat, Sentinel) missions, simplifying integration with existing workflows. Key applications include precision agriculture (crop health, nitrogen and nutrient mapping, crop classification), mineral exploration and mine planning, forestry species inventory and wildfire monitoring, oil-and-gas site reclamation and leak detection, and maritime and defence material identification. An open-data programme provides free, CC BY 4.0-licensed scenes covering forests, wildfire events, croplands, open-pit mines and coastal areas.
