Spotlite Monitoring Platform

Spotlite is a Portuguese deep-tech infrastructure risk monitoring platform that combines multi-source satellite imagery (optical and SAR/InSAR) with AI to deliver continuous, scalable monitoring of linear and distributed infrastructure — power grids, roads, rail, pipelines and renewable energy assets.

Its two flagship products are TreeGuard™ (AI-powered vegetation management for overhead power lines, providing weekly/monthly encroachment maps, 6-month predictive planning, compliance scoring and GIS/SAP integration) and GeoPulse™ (sub-millimetre ground-displacement and structural deformation monitoring using InSAR, targeting roads, railways and civil structures).

The platform ingests data from Copernicus Sentinel-1 SAR and other satellite constellations, fuses it with IoT sensor feeds where available, and surfaces prioritised risk alerts, historical trend analytics and automated early-warning notifications through a centralised dashboard. Operators shift from reactive to proactive maintenance without physical inspections or on-site sensors, achieving reported OPEX reductions of up to 60%.

Spotlite serves utilities, renewables, transport agencies and mining operators across Portugal, Colombia, Brazil and the US, and has been validated through pilots with Egis, GIIB and Infraestruturas de Portugal. The company closed a €3.5 M seed round in December 2025.
